About Us
We Mashrutehkhahan are Iranians, who hand in hand fight for liberty, equality, social welfare, security and honour for the Iranian people. On our side is the constitutional movement of our forefathers, because it is clear to us, what our forefathers were able to do, we can succeed in fullfilling it. Our ancestors liberated Iran from the absolute dictatorship of Qajar. Our forefathers wrote a modern constitution for Iran, the first constitution in Middle East, in which the power of the state was in the hands of mellat, the tree powers (legislative, executive, and judicial power) were distinct and separate from one another, respecting civil and human rights declaration. This constitution was the foundation so that Reza Shah Bozorg could establish Iran Novin and Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi Ariamehr was able to transform the feudal Iranian society into a modern society with free farmers as land owners, free women, as citizens with equal rights in social, political and economic affairs, and free workers benefitting from factory profits. Mohammad Reza Schah Pahlavi Ariamehr fought against colonialism by nationalizing forests, waters, mines and the oil of Iran. He eradicated illiteracy by sending young Iranian educated daughters and sons from the cities to the farthest villages. Unfortunately he could not finish his reform and modernization program, outlined in his book "Tamadon Bozorg". Today, under the leadership of a rahbar, Iran is back to the dark days of Qajar dynasty, powerty, and unemployment. People are hungry, helpless, and with no future. Looking at history, we see the constitutional movement did not have only one leader whom all followed but leaders from all over the country stood up. With support and cooperation these leaders where able to institutionalize the Mashruteh constitution, democracy and human rights in Iran.
